Rob Shelsky has been a writer for five years. Born in Texas, he’s lived in Massachusetts, New York, Canada, Australia, and California. He has also traveled widely to such places as Europe(particularly, England), Mexico, and the Caribbean. He attended Southwestern College, University of Victoria at British Columbia, and San Diego State University.

His writings are eclectic, including romance, science fiction, and literary, as well as factual articles, and op-ed pieces. Lost Echoes, a time-travel romance novel, is now out with Awestruck E-Books. Implosion, a sci-fi short story, was Rob Shelsky’s first publication (Alien Skin Magazine). His time-travel romance, A Confederate Yankee in Annabelle's Court, is currently with Uncial Press. Rob has had short stories out with Aberrant Dreams Magazine, Without Omens, Bradbury County, and an in-depth interview about him there, entitled, "Reader’s Eye on Rob Shelsky." Besides his story now appearing with Jim Baen’s Universe Magazine, "Dreamtime," Rob has another tale due out with Dark Wisdom Magazine in 2008, "Serpent Caravan." Articles, such as "Medieval Towns, Villages, and Hamlets," and others, have appeared with such magazines as The Internet Review of Science Fiction, Neometropolis, Midnight Street (UK), and Alien Skin Magazine, as well as others. And finally, later this fall, Rob has a novella coming out in the hardcover, signed, limited edition of Aberrant Dreams' anthology, Awakenings. The story is entitled "Avenger Of The People," and will appear along with works by Alastair Reynolds, Ian Watson, Robert Madle and others. Rob is currently a columnist for Alien Skin Magazine.
